Sam
Introduction
Sam was found as a wee little man washing down an embankment, when his mama pulled him to shore, nearly drowned. is mom ran away when help arrived, and he was brought to the clinic I worked at to get dried off and warmed up. I fell in love immediately, and smuggled him home in my purse to "foster" for the weekend. By the end of the weekend, my husband was hooked. (it didn't hurt that we had only just gotten married a few weeks earlier) And the rest is history.

Leroy
Introduction
Leroy is the foofy dog I never thought I would have, and I love him to death. He was found in the woods in VA nearly dead, full of every parasite other than heartworms! After many blood and plasma transfusions, and slowly increasing his weight from 7 pounds to 13 pounds, he became the dog he is today! (and a LOT of personality adjusments, as he used to be terribly dog and food aggressive)
