Target training is one of the most useful things you can teach a dog. A target can be anything that the dog can touch with it's nose or it's paws. We use it for so many basic skills-follow the target to stay in Heel position,  touch the target to come when called, put your paws on target to go to your doggie bed. Targets are also used in Agilty, the yellow "contact" zone on many agility obstacles is a target.  There are endless posiibilities using this method!

A built in clicker helps to mark the correct response, since click = reward. Clicker training is just that, a learning bridge, associating a sound with an action then with a reward.
