Susan Gleeson, Certified Dog Trainer
Susan has devoted her life to dogs. Her first job at age 14 was at a private kennel working with Poodles and Scottish terriers bred for the show ring. That after school job eventually led her into a career in veterinary medicine where she worked at many veterinary hospitals in the Hudson Valley for the past 28 years. Susan started out cleaning and helping the Vet and worked her way up through surgical assistant to hospital management. Meeting and caring for thousands of animals and their humans along the way. During this time, Susan witnessed the many facets of the human animal bond and developed a strong interest in animal behavior and learning theory. Helping people to enhance this relationship is the core philosophy of the Center for Heeling. She trains owner and dog, to build a stronger understanding. A healthy environment for both human and canine.
